A few kilometres south of your Vannes aparthotel is the beach of Conleau, the only beach in the municipality.
The wild beauty of a typical Breton beach
Conleau beach is located at the end of the peninsula of the same name. Although modest in size, it abounds in Breton charm, with a view of pleasure boats and fishing boats in particular. The bathing area, accessible at high tide, is really akin to a seawater "swimming pool". The children have no problem to stand there.
Beach Accessibility
You will easily find a parking space in the adjoining car park. It is also possible to get there by public transport and then walk a little. You can also choose to get there by bike. The most pleasant option is undoubtedly a walk along the surrounding footpaths from the port of Vannes. It is about 5km from the centre of Vannes. Of course, if you feel energetic you can turn it into a little jogging session! This beach also has an access adapted to people with reduced mobility thanks to a launching mat. Please note that this beach is non-smoking and does not accept dogs. It also has showers and toilets.

The beach is fortunate to be surrounded by a large number of restaurants. You will find whatever whets your appetite among the options of local specialities (such as freshly caught seafood or pancakes) or more international menus (pizzas, pasta etc.). For those who prefer picnics, there is an area where the family can sit in comfort.
