Interactive exhibitions and iconic installations
The museum boasts six different galleries for exploration, transporting you to the realms beyond earth with interactive exhibits that enchant both adults and children alike. See the iconic rocket tower, designed to host the museum’s largest artefacts including real rockets Thor Able and Blue Streak, pieces of moon rock and the Apollo Lunar Lander. Stroll through a mock-up of the Columbus Module, check out real astronauts’ spacesuits and equipment and find the answers to all your burning questions about space.
With immersive storytelling and detailed reconstructions, each gallery sparks the imagination while giving visitors the chance to step into the shoes of astronauts, engineers, and scientists. The centre offers an ideal mix of science, history, and spectacle, making it one of the most engaging family-friendly attractions in the UK.
In another area, you can explore the science behind all things in space, look into the technology created to enhance our knowledge of the universe, find out about wormholes and even take part in a mock alien autopsy.
There are also educational zones focused on satellites, black holes and the real-world impact of space tech on our daily lives. Ideal for school-age children and curious adults alike, the exhibits help demystify complex topics through play and participation.
